I was on my way to visit some development teams in Yerevan, Armenia. It's near midnight, I'm on a shuttle on the tarmac at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport. Suddenly, I'm dumbstruck. I see an eastern european girl, about 9-10 years old, on this same shuttle, in the middle of the night, on an iPod touch playing Minecraft! This kid is just like my three kids digging Minecraft, halfway around the world. I was reminded of the global impact that these devices and games can have and how these products and services can be a common ground for many without them even realizing it.

Throughout my career, whether helping design the Windows XP Start button, with hundreds of millions of users to CQG,  where customers use the platform to trade hundreds of millions of dollars, I've had the privilege of working on products that have touched people around the world. My passion and my goal has been to build and market products that improve people's lives.

As a father and a gadget guy, I am continually excited to share and discover technology, toys, and technology toys with my kids and friends alike, from Legos to Little Bits, from Scratch to Sphero. I'd like to explore working with Sphero to bring the joy of a great set of products to kids as well as adults around the world.

Best regards,
Marcus
